Identity & Abilities- Interlinked?

Many of us , or at least I noticed, get to be asked the question where are you from?. It becomes a first question that is needed to be answered to complete someone's picture about someone newly introduced to. It's the natural tendency to be subjective. A natural human thing. What is intriguing is that identity and abilities are confused to have interlinks and dependence which is true to some extend. However, the core values of people depends more or several factors of experience, education, activities,etc. So why do we tend to take that shortcut. Is the need  and laziness to associate a person with one subjective thing or is it because subjectivity is what is being taught to us all over the place in media, TV and society?? Certainly something to think about when dealing with people and to keep an agenda in mind next time you talk to someone you don't know or you get introduced to. A view

It make me happy always to see charity, activism and community events around. The feelings for ones another and appreciation of others needs makes life has a purpose. It enables me to connect to inner feelings that I didn't discover before as well as experiencing other feelings more. Compassion, love, respect are certainly felt more. Intellectual thinking and working/meeting equal minded people is something I found unique in such contexts. Learning new techniques and ways of feeling too. Sometimes I question how come there are that so much charities/movements/activisms working in the same area but still huge problems exist?.  It makes me question the effectiveness of performance. But I find that the motivation of those involved is always different and always connects to inner feelings.There is an important learning which is that the push/pull phenomena of society that majesty change happen.
