Manners? Culture?

'Next station is Cardiff,'
I've got to rush to carry my bulky bags out and navigate to the Bristol platform in next '7' mins. Few people behind, for some I can feel the frowning on their faces for the longer time I took to pick everything.

In my mind I said: 'No , 'No.' One is going to help'. 'It is the UK at the end of the day', I thought.

An Engliah man waiting to collect my bags off the train, one by one.'Paul' from Birmingham. As a complete stranger, had buddied me,carrying the bags in and out of Cardiff and Bristol Parkway stations.

Manners? Culture?. Prejudice?. Sometimes, we close ourselves in the shell of culture. Then, use it to justify our actions. This is reflected into our manners. It does become the easy option to stereotype. Stereotyping gives us the sense of superiority which is a psychologically favourited by our self-concious minds.

However, this story wouldn't exist in a different culture. Nor it agrees with different manners in different cultures.

Actually, life is a journey, we are in it together. We might be heading in different directions. Manners are there to make those journeys pleasant. To give them the needed flavour of purpose, goodness and perspective.
