[Episode 1]

Life is beautiful!. Full of adventure, love, joy and entertainment. These are some of the things that makes life very dear to everyone of us.

But what is the best way to live life?. What is the optimum combination of matters and feelings? Body and soul? Love and hate? actions and reactions? respect and tolerance? retribution and forgiveness? mind time and heart time? spirit and carelessness?,greed and generosity?, etc

It's like a multi-dimential mathematical optimization problems(forgive my example here) with many parameters interacting together. We usually have different perspectives and inclinations depending on our education, upbringing, metaphysical awareness about the world which act to shape us and how we approach our lives. Importantly, how our upbringing was surrounded with in terms of feelings, values and principles,  seem to have lasting impacts on our current status as well as fates for our future( as many psychology and neuroscience research studies have shown).

Then comes the role of emotions in our lives, from the mysteries of the changing heart from state to another to the mysteries of brain connections that form at the same time as a result.

Here is a series in which I am trying to discuss elements of life as I see it. With a focus on the HEART and MIND covering scientific and psychological aspects and complemented with aspects relating to relationships we form with others both professionally and personally. My interest in leadership and role of education and ICT in human Developement will pose itself as another theme as well, multidisciplinary with neuroscience.

Episode1:
The World is in so much change, so much fear and people are becoming like so much 'drunken monkies'. Hence clear things (e.g. Religion, ideology, etc) are last resort to people. This change is accompanied by three main pheonmenan's,  which we can see
evident if we focus a little bit:
1. Rejecting the label: it is more easier to label someone than to debate the root causes of the issues in hand. Fundamentalist, right wing, left wing. American hater, etc
2. Mental junk: we digest 5x times more info today than in 1960s~175 newspapers(#)
This is more -ve than +ve, because negative news awaken the drunken monkey in us as it operates directly on our sense of survival
3.Fearful rhetoric: politics scaremongering,  Terrorism, War against terror, etc, universal campaign building on fear.

Positive message is that,  those with passion, aspiration and urge to change the work in whatever they do, usually don't suffer the drunken monkey symptoms.
